Start times indicate when the zamboni comes on. Please arrive at the rink at least 20 minutes prior to the indicated start time to get dressed. We’ll take to the ice approximately once the zamboni is off. There will be a 5-minute warm-up followed by two 20-minute running time halves, with a 3-minute water break in between.
Required Equipment
A helmet with facemask, official broomball shoes, covered knee/leg pads, and an official broomball stick are required. Gloves and elbow pads are strongly encouraged. Reversible DBC jerseys are available for purchase, otherwise be prepared with a white and black jersey. The club has a limited selection of shoes, sticks, and protective equipment available for new players to borrow. See our suggested equipment list for more information.
